Hello everyone!

This Wednesday is Walk & Roll to School Day! Please be watchful for our crossing guards in their bright yellow vests (thanks again to Classic Stitching for helping with those) and our elementary school children crossing the roads and skipping down the sidewalks!

Our goals by promoting Walk & Roll to School every month are:
To increase the safety & number of children walking & bicycling regularly.
To share the joys of walking & bicycling.
To reduce traffic congestion & speed near schools.
To reclaim neighborhood streets & strengthen the community.
To teach children safe walking & bicycling behavior.
To instill in children self confidence & independence.
To reduce air pollution.

Live too far to have your child walk to school? Feel free to drop them off in the parking lot of St. Peter's on Maple Street, they can join the kids who ride the bus and still participate in this fun event!
