The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) is hosting the 2nd annual Karibu (Welcome in Swahili): A New American Fashion Show. Models from countries across the world will be wearing traditional dress and "takes" on tradition designed and sewn by artisans from their own community. Event is at Main Street Landing on Saturday, April 28th.

This year's show will be intergenerational, featuring families—grandmothers, sons and grand-daughters alike will walk in-sync, presenting the breathtaking evolution of fashion in their cultures. African Jamono drummers! Pre-show with sneak peek on the red carpet, food straight from the kitchen of women from Sudan, Congo, Nepal and more.
