I hope you had a good weekend and a happy holiday if you so celebrate.
On Monday, tomorrow, the City Council will convene its first of two meetings for the month of April. This Monday's meeting is the first of the Council year and one of celebration as we embark on a new year.
At the year's first meeting, known as Organization Day which begins at 7pm in City Hall, newly elected and re-elected City Councilors are sworn in for their two year term of office. Our Mayor, Miro Weinberger, will be sworn in for a third term and will give his State of the City address. The Council will elect a Council President and three members of the Council will be elected to the Board of Finance.
