The Data is Back! In summer 2016, Audubon biologists put geo-locatorbackpacks on Blue and Golden-winged Warblers in the Champlain Valley. In summer 2017, they captured some of the same birds after a season of migration (WOW!). Now, one year later the geo-data has been downloaded and interpreted and we'll get to hear first-hand what these elusive warblers have been up to.

Light level geolocators allow biologists to track birds on their migration journeys. Join Audubon Vermont's Mark LaBarr and Margaret Fowle for a discussion on migration and wintering locations of Golden and Blue-winged warblers fitted with geolocators in the Middlebury area and across the Champlain Valley.
