PH International has been initiating positive global change from Waitsfield, Vermont for over 30 years. Learn about the work PH International is currently involved in, and how staying close to our roots and hometown values in an international arena has set us apart as a uniquely equipped player in the international field. Get an introduction to our current Vermont based programs and learn how you can be a part of it and the growing movement to support emerging global leaders.

In 1985, a teacher, an architect and a lawyer shared the idea that personal contact between people of the US and the USSR could help ease the tensions of the Cold War. Although not political experts, they were committed to the idea that breaking down stereotypes in order to connect people in meaningful ways could truly make a difference. "Project Harmony" began with the exchange of student choir groups between high schools in Vermont and Leningrad in the spring of 1985. Since those early, pioneering years, Project Harmony has grown into PH International, expanding its scope of work throughout the countries of the former Soviet Union and beyond. Over the past 30 years, PH has been at the forefront of innovation with a focus on improving economic, civic and professional opportunities for citizens of all ages and circumstance. Now more than ever we are committed to maintaining the quality and integrity of our work and continuing a sustained presence regardless of challenging locations and times.
