Past event
Apr 14, 2018, 10 to 11 AM

A Saturday program featuring A Whirl with Whirligigs—The Old and New, a short video created by Don and Betty Ann Lockhart of Perceptions, Inc. A whirligig is a creation that spins or whirls. These moving objects have been made for centuries as toys, noisemakers or as fanciful garden ornaments. The video, described as “Nine Minutes of Wind Driven Delight!” features whirligigs from the Lockhart’s collection and the creations by Vermont artists, Harry Hults and Russell Snow.
This is a family event. Come enjoy the film and see whirligigs from the Lockhart’s collection. Make your own wind powered toy!
