ILM Barn Quilt Workshop April 7

Past event
Apr 7, 2018

Isle la Motte residents-have you seen the beautiful Barn Quilts popping up around? You can join in this Community Art Project! Barn quilts are traditional quilt patterns painted on plywood or signboard and can be displayed outside on a barn, shed, house or fence. Are you curious about them and would you like to learn how to make your own? Sylvia Jensen will be leading another ILMCO sponsored Barn Quilt Workshop in Isle La Motte, for ILM residents on April 7, 2018, 9 am at the ILM School. (Check out the beautiful Barn Quilts she made that are displayed on her barn at her farm here in ILM, and others around town) Your quilt can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 ft square-and you don't have to hang it on a barn! $10 plywood fee for 4x4+, $5 for smaller. You choose a design and provide your own paints. RSVP, by April 3, to Sylvia 802-309-5500 to reserve the wood for your quilt and get a detailed materials list.
