The Federated Church of East Arlington extends a warm welcome to celebrate Easter this weekend. On Saturday, March 31 there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for all children ages 1 through 8 years old as well as a visit from the Easter bunny for picture taking and a rabbit for petting along with refreshments. The hunt begins at 9:00 a.m. SHARP and children are asked to bring a basket or bag for gathering eggs. Then at 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday morning all are invited to welcome the Risen Christ at the Sunrise Service on the east-facing hill of the Mack corporate headquarters on Route 313. This is followed by a free continental breakfast in Bailey Hall. At 10:00 a.m. on Easter there will be glad celebration during the joyous Service of Worship and celebration of Holy Communion at the Federated Church. This will be followed by refreshments and fellowship in Bailey Hall to which folks are invited to bring a goodie to share.
