The Washington and Orange County 4-H Program is looking for individuals interested in judging tabletop exhibits, public speaking projects, and crafts at our upcoming event called Super Saturday. The event is on Saturday, April 14th at Barre Town Middle and Elementary School. This is a day where youth from the two counties exhibit projects in the communication arts. Judges are given a rubric that outlines the evaluation criteria. Judges typically arrive 8:30AM for orientation but can leave after they are done evaluating the projects, unless they would like to stay for awards which happen around noon. The time commitment for judging typically is between 1-3 hours depending on the category to be evaluated. If you would like to connect with 4-H youth in the area by providing them with a worthwhile learning experience and chance to share in their interests, please contact me at Allison Smith, 4-H Educator at 802-476-2003 or Allison.smith.2@UVM.edu
