Neighbors:

Perhaps you grow weary of hearing the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's *Messiah* during the Christmas Season. Perhaps you NEVER grow weary of hearing it! But this coming Friday, March 30, you have the opportunity to hear it in the context it was meant to be heard and experienced - as part of the Passion Narrative. First United Methodist Church, on the corner of South Winooski Ave and Buell Street, will host our second annual Good Friday service constructed around "Part II" of Handel's Messiah. Scores are available and all will be invited to sing the choruses. Orchestra and soloists will lead us through the arias and help bolster the choruses.

Join us in a beautiful space for this service of readings, candle light and the music of Handel.

No offering will be taken during the service. If people wish to make a contribution there will be a place to do so at the back of the Sanctuary.

The service begins at 7:00 PM. No matter your religious preferences or affiliations - ALL are welcome! Spread the word! We hope to see you Friday evening at the Church with the Red Doors.
