On Thursday night, the Town of Barre Community Dog Park group will meet to start discussions around the next steps for the park. This will be the kick off meeting as we are entering Phase III of the park. Phase I was to identify a proposed location and obtain permission to pursue it, Phase II was to fundraise and establish the fenced in park, with Phase III focus being on features inside and outside the park. These include water hookup, lighting, signage, features for the dogs, design/layout of the features within the park, upkeep at the park (mowing/trimming), composting units, benches etc.. Please join us as we brainstorm and create a vision for this community asset. Meeting will be held this Thursday (3/29/18) at the Steakhouse Restaurant 6:30 pm. Food and drink will be available for order during the meeting.
