A weekly film series featuring traditional 16mm film projection on Friday evenings at the Lawrence Memorial Library. New title announced every Saturday!

Our March 30th film is Howard Hawks's gritty film noir "The Big Sleep", starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

Synopsis:
"A private eye is hired by a wealthy old man to stop a blackmailer threatening his daughter. The P.I. becomes involved with the man's other daughter as well, and soon finds himself mixed up in a murder."
