The Selectboard is sponsoring a workshop which is open (at no charge) to all Huntington Committee-Board-Commission members, public officials and the general public. We hope you will be able to join us.

A VLCT presentation regarding the Open Meeting Law and Conflicts of Interest.

Sarah Jarvis, Staff Attorney at the Municipal Assistance Center of the Vermont League of Cities and Towns.

This presentation will discuss aspects of Vermont's Open Meeting Law, the legitimate management of public participation at meetings, and local control over conflicts of interest issues. Although there will be an opportunity to address the individual questions of attendees, the presentation is informational in nature and is not intended to provide legal advice.
