The Village School of North Bennington is hosting a special, one-time only screening of the award-winning film SCREENAGERS this Friday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m. at Tishman Theater, Bennington College. SCREENAGERS dives deep into the effects of technology on kids' development and the challenges of parenting in the digital world. Through poignant, and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, SCREENAGERS reveals how tech time impacts kids' development and also offers solutions on how adults can empower their kids to best navigate the digital world to find balance. Following the 67-minute film there will be a panel discussion. On the panel are Scott Burg, who teaches psychology at Southern Vermont College and practices clinical psychology with Bennington's Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy Associates; Hannah Green, Mount Anthony Union Middle School Guidance Counselor; Jude Higdon, Bennington College Director of Information Technology; and Tim Newbold, Head of School at the Village School of North Bennington. Light refreshments will be available by donation.
