Join us for the Cabot Community Theater production of "Mary Poppins" April 12-15, at the Cabot School Performing Arts Center. This show, featuring a multi-generational cast of community members, promises to be a delight for all!

This is the story of a most unusual nanny, Mary Poppins (played by Lela Jones), who transforms the lives of the Banks family (Thomas Dunbar, KaitLynn Lakus, Camryn Hoffman, and Sawyer Estivill), and their household staff (Lori Augustyniak, Leo Parlo), with the help of her friend Bert (Todd Jones).

In their magical adventures, they meet a talking statue (Lorelai Bastress), a living doll (Brooke White), and a seller of words and her daughters (Mazie O'Connor, with Hannah White and Baylee Davis). The children also cross paths with an array of people in the park and around London: Miss Lark (Adelie Tebbetts) and her dog (Sage King), Admiral Boom (Seth Vandenburg), a policeman (Jonah Socks), the parkkeeper (Declan O'Connor), and a birdwoman (Karen Mueller-Harder), and cause trouble for their old nanny (Sandy Pond). At the bank, we meet the chairman (Ethan Socks) and secretary (Natalie Davis), and hopeful entrepreneurs (Jonah Socks and Leo Parlo). When Mr. Banks' old nanny (Cameron Mueller-Harder) arrives at the family's house, it starts a chain of events which transforms their lives.

The ensemble of toys, chimney sweeps, living statues, and other assorted characters also includes Caroline Fucello, Bailey Levine, Bella Miller, Jerrie Nash, Jaquelyn Rieke, Alaina Robbins, Rheia Schall, Freya Van Deusen, Lucas Vitale, and Spencer Vitale.

The production is directed by Caleb Pitkin, music direction is by Cameron Mueller-Harder, and choreography is by Daria Babbitt, with Mark Violette as the piano accompanist. Set design and construction is by Todd Parlo and Lori Augustyniak, props by Barbara Halada, costumes by Karen Mueller-Harder and Elizabeth Vitale, and lights by Billie O'Connor, assisted by Alec Moran and Emily Fuller.
