The Hardwick area Swap Sisters are hosting their first ever Herbal Remedy Swap, March 29, 6:30-8pm at the Greensboro Free Library. This free event is a great way to trade your herbal excess for more variety of other quality herbal products made by your friends and community members. If you have home grown or prepared herbs or herbal products, or even herbs purchased in bulk, bring them along to swap with other participants.
Here's how it works:
Bring your homemade herbal products to trade (you assign whatever value you think appropriate to it). Examples might include dried herbs or mushrooms, tea blends, tinctures, salves, infused vinegar or oil ... Label each item with ingredients and instructions. Bring your own clean bottles, jars, and baggies to package up swapped materials brought in bulk. Funnels, scoops and labels for repackaging will be provided. The only rule is that no dollars change hands, just traded goods. Mud season is a great time to clean out the medicine pantry and get ready for the new spring growing season and medicine making time.
For more information about the swap, email swapsisters@gmail.com or call 755-6336
Please help us spread the word by inviting all your herb loving friends!
