In honor of National Poetry Month in April, Milton Public Library's Thursday evening Adult Book Club is hosting a poetry open house. The center of the Milton Public Library will be turned into a coffee house, and refreshments will be served. Drop in to share a poem you've written, recite a favorite poem, or just listen to others read poetry aloud. The Adult Book Club is reading "Blackbird Singing: Poems and Lyrics 1965 – 1999" by Sir Paul McCartney, ahead of the April 5 open house. If you'd like to join them reading the book, call the library at 802-893-4644 to have your name added to the book reservation list.
