Observing Spring through the Birds!! with Winooski Valley Park District

Come meet at Delta Park IBA (Important Bird Area!!!), 668 Windemere Way, to see/hear some spring arrivals. Dream about warmer weather to the sounds of the Red-winged Blackbirds. We will walk down the paved bike path to the Winooski River Delta, and if time allows we will continue out to Derway Island. All levels and experience welcome (we do have 10 pairs of binoculars to share)!! Hosted by Winooski Valley Park District and Green Mountain Club- Burlington Section. There will be two following dates in April and June so we may continue observing how the species present change as we get further and further into Spring.

I walked the park Tuesday morning to find 4 Bald Eagles!! One who caught a very large what I thought to be a Bass by the shape of the mouth and what was left of scraps.
