Are you (or is someone you know) looking for high quality local childcare or an enriching and nurturing small school community? The Montessori School of Central Vermont is having an open house this Saturday March 24 from 9-10:30 for prospective families to learn more about the school and available openings. MSCVT guides children from 18 months to 12 years old. It accepts universal Pre-K tuition money for families who qualify, and there is also a scholarship fund available. The school recently relocated to a beautifully renovated facility and 10-acre campus at 84 Pine Hill Road in Barre Town (in the old Knights of Columbus hall). Our son has been attending since he was a toddler and we have loved watching him grow in his compassion, independence, and curiosity with the guidance of the school's caring staff and thoughtful application of Montessori principles.
