Past event
Mar 25, 2018

South Burlington residents are invited to attend the annual meeting of the South Burlington Land Trust (SBLT), taking place Sunday, March 25, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ridgewood Estates Club House (second right going West on Swift Street from Dorset, than keep left. Clubhouse is on the left as you round the first corner). The meeting will include introductions to SBLT board members and a potluck dinner (please bring a dish to share, if you are able), followed by a brief presentation by the Board President Sarah Dopp on activities of the organization over the past year.

The guest speaker is Dr. Bill Keeton, UVM Professor of Forest Ecology and Forestry, The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources. He will give a natural history talk discussing the importance of South Burlington's forests and tree canopy.

Why come?

It's an opportunity to meet and connect with people passionate about land conservation and concerned about the protection of open space in the city of South Burlington; share your concerns and priorities surrounding the preservation of clean waterways, healthy forests, working farmlands and wildlife habitat. Discover what the SBLT is working towards and how you can support the cause, as a member, as a volunteer or an advocate for South Burlington's open spaces. All are welcome.
