An Evening of Song with Victor Tremblay

Past event
Mar 24, 2018, 6:30 to 8:30 PM

Please join us for an evening of song with local musician, Victor Tremblay. A singer songwriter since his early teens, his material comes from the life he lives. Many of his tunes are very playful such as his song "That No-good Irene" which is a play on the old time tune "Good-night Irene", but where he sings about the huge storm Irene that devastated many parts of Vermont.

His musical influences range from John Prine, Mac Wiseman, the Del McCoury Band, Doc Watson, Dr. Hook to Kate Wolff. Tremblay writes songs in the veritable troubadour tradition with sprinkles of Vermont and the Northeast Kingdom.

Coffee and light refreshments are available. This concert is free though donations are appreciated. The Burke Mountain Club is located at 368 Vermont Route 114, in the center of East Burke.
