If you were born in 1917 in Russia, your life expectancy was 35. Last summer, I (a Montpelier-based photographer and journalist) traveled 20,000 km throughout Eurasia with two Russian journalists, interviewing over 20 centenarians born in 1917 – people who have lived nearly three times their life expectancies at birth. Our short documentary film about some of these remarkable individuals will have its World Premiere at the Green Mountain Film Festival on Sunday @ 11 am, at the Savoy, with Q&A and book signing to follow.
