I know several people in the neighborhood are aware, but I wanted to let others know that there is an issue in front of the next DRB meeting concerning the Five Sister's neighborhood. A homeowner on Caroline St. has applied for a Change of Use Zoning Permit, to convert two long term rental units to bed and breakfast, which is not an allowed use in low density residential zoning. This permit will allow her to continue to rent the two apartments in the carriage house as short term rentals on Airbnb.

If you care about the impact of this on the neighborhood, either favorably or negatively, I hope you will consider coming to the meeting, or letting the city know your thoughts in writing.

Meeting is 5:00, Tuesday March 20 in Contois Auditorium. This is the second item on the agenda, so shouldn't be late into the evening, barring changes.
