Charlotte Senior Center Monday Munch for March 19 features Fire Roasted Tomato Soup with Eggplant and Zucchini, Caesar Salad with Chicken, Bread, Beverages and Apple Bread Pudding.

The last time we cooked this soup, we took the soup title a bit too literally, resulting in a visit from the fire department. We promise to ease off this time. The apple bread pudding has never provided drama but dear Shirley Bean declared that it was her favorite. Munch requires no reservation and is open for those over 50 from neighboring towns. Suggested donation: $5 As always, the Great Hall is filled with enthusiastic bridge players in the afternoon.
