Morristown Centennial Library is forming a New Friends Group.
Do you love our library? Have a little free time and/or some great ideas? Want to meet with others who feel the same way? Library Friends are different from staff and Board Trustees. They organize fundraising events, help out with library activities, and spread the word about our great little library.
The first informational meeting is Thursday, March 22nd, 4:30pm at the library. Please come and hear about being involved in our beautiful community library. We will have a special guest speaker who has helped organize another Library Friends Group.
If you're interested but can't attend the meeting on 3/22, please contact Marena Youngs at degiorgis.m@gmail.com.
P.S. I've been a Board Trustee at MCL for many years. I love our little library and would like to see more folks be involved behind the scenes. It is a fun way to support your community and there are usually baked goods!
