TOWN OF BRISTOL
SELECTBOARD MEETING
Monday, March 19, 2018, 6:00 PM
Holley Hall

I. Call to Order: 6:00 PM
1. Review agenda for addition, removal, or adjustment of any items per 1 V.S.A. 312(d)(3)(A).

II. Annual Selectboard organization matters:
A. Elect the Chair.
B. Elect a Vice-Chair.
C. Designate every other Monday as a regular meeting schedule, subject to occasional modification.
D. Designate The Addison Independent as the Newspaper of Record.
E. Designate the Town Office, Lawrence Memorial Library, and Shaw's as the official posting locations for the Town.
F. Authorize Treasurer's Office to process weekly payroll, with the Selectboard approving warrants monthly.
G. Consider which date to resume 7:00pm meeting start time.

III. Public Forum.
1. This is an opportunity for citizens to briefly share comments and concerns with the Board about matters that are not on the agenda (up to 5 minutes for each topic). A topic requiring more than 5 minutes should be scheduled for a future agenda.

IV. Scheduled Appointments.
1. 6:05 PM – Val Hanson: technician support and rental fee update for new Holley Hall audio system.

V. Regular Business.
1. Continued review and discussion of draft License Agreement with Vermont Gas.

2. Consider appointment or reappointment of Town officers. May include deliberation in Executive Session to discuss appointments.

3. Consider Selectboard goals and general schedule for 2018 – 2019.

4. Consider request from Vermont Tree Goods (John Monks) to subordinate RLF loan to VEDA (tentative).

5. Consider approval of the Awakening Sanctuary Tax Exemption and Good Neighbor Agreement.

6. Consider membership with the Addison County Chamber of Commerce.

7. Consider receipt of Fire Fighter Matthew Babcock's resignation letter.

8. Approval of meeting minutes of March 5, 2018.

9. Authorize accounts payable warrant and any liquor licenses.

10. Selectboard concerns.

11. Town Administrator's report.

VI. Other Business.
1. Correspondence, reports, correspondence received.

VII. Executive Session: personnel matters per 1 V.S.A. §313(a)(3).

VIII. Adjourn.
