The internationally-renowned Bread & Puppet Theater returns to Barre's Old Labor Hall Sunday, March 18 at 5:00 pm, with "The Basic Bye-bye Show." Inspired by Albrecht Dürer's apocalyptic woodcuts, birch branches lost during an ice storm, and the daily news, the new show responds to the devastating effects of the global economy on our planet. Bread and soup follow the show. Admission is a sliding scale of $10-$25. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Tickets will be available at the door. The show will be followed immediately by a serving of Bread & Puppet's signature fresh-baked bread with aioli along with the Old Labor Hall's signature fresh-made soups. For reservations and more information email info@oldlaborhall.org, call (802) 479-5600, or text (802) 331-0013. The Labor Hall Web site is http://oldlaborhall.org/.
