The Jericho Planning and Conservation Commissions are together offering a presentation at the Jericho Elementary School cafeteria (note the new location!). Here is the agenda for the evening:

1. Snacks, Maps and Plans – 7:00 pm to 7:15 pm

Have some light snacks while you view and discuss Maps and pictures of Jericho's natural resources as well as some past planning efforts related to Jericho's natural heritage

2. Presentation: Jericho's Natural Resources Present and Future -7:15 pm to 8:35 pm

Celebrate Jericho's Natural Resources. Jens Hilke, from the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife, will briefly present the science behind the natural resources inventory, explain the work already done in mapping Jericho's natural resources and why it is important to Jericho and the state to protect the Town's natural resources

3. Overview of the working draft of the Natural Resources Overlay - 8:35 pm to 8:45 pm

Members of the Planning and Conservation Commissions will present a brief overview of the draft proposal for the protection of Jericho's natural resources in the Land Use Regulations
