After our Sunday service, around 11:30, there will be an introduction to Tai Chi open to the public. Tai Chi is often called an "internal" martial art. We can fend off the stresses of modern life, maintain our agility, balance, and overall health, practice mindfulness, and enjoy the mood-lifting experience of practicing these engaging movement forms with others.
Research had shown that there are many health benefits from practicing Tai Chi, including that it improves balance. In this way it's especially helpful for seniors who want to avoid falls and stay active, independent and in their homes.
