Addison County Chamber Seminar: Setting Up an Employee Benefits Plan – Considerations when crafting a benefits plan to attract and retain talented employees.

As a small business owner you most likely got into your business to do something you loved. As an owner there is always too little time and too many things to do in that time. Employee benefits is often an area that takes a back seat to the many other tasks that command your time and attention during an average day, week or month. Let us help you uncover some benefits commonly sought after by potential employees/existing employees and how to implement them in a logical and reasonable way.

You Will Learn About:
• Health Insurance- To offer or not, Section 125 plans and HSA/HRA options.

• Retirement Plan options-Company Sponsored IRA, SEP IRA, Simple IRA and 401k/403b.

• Group Insurance-Life Insurance, Short term disability, Long Term disability and Dental/Vision.

• Voluntary Benefits-Life Insurance- spousal coverage/dependent coverage, Vol. STD/LTD coverage, Critical Illness coverage and Accident coverage.
