What: March for Our Lives Montpelier - A Student-led Rally Against Gun Violence
When: March 24th, 2018 from 12 - 2 pm
Where: Montpelier, VT Vermont | State House Lawn

MONTPELIER, VT - March for Our Lives is a rally in solidarity with Parkland youth. The youth of today are being forced to step up and take the action that wasn't previously being taken. This rally has been organized primarily by youth around Vermont and will take place in Montpelier on the State House Lawn on Saturday, March 24th from 12 - 2 pm.

"Why do we think Vermont is immune to this issue? Gun violence is everywhere and we need to step up to address it," stated Madison Knoop, Johnson State College freshman and Director of the Montpelier March for our Lives.

At this rally there will be tables providing information regarding gun violence, voter registration, and other issues of importance to youth. Youth presenters will talk about different issues regarding gun violence - not only mass shootings but also gun violence in everyday life. This is an opportunity to address legislators and voice the need for safety in this country. If you support survivors of gun violence and the Parkland Youth and you believe safety needs to be priority, you will attend this march.
