Benefit Ham Dinner for Rutland County Fire Victim Families Will be Held February 8th in Poultney Sponsored by Poultney United Methodist Church , by Janice B. Edwards, Freelance Writer

Poultney United Methodist Church will host a Benefit Ham Dinner on Saturday, February 8th. Dinner will be served between the hours of 5 to 7 PM in the church fellowship hall, a handicap accessible site. The ham will be either McKenzie and/or Harrington. The meal will be served buffet style, first come, first served. Take out available. Reservations are not required. Poultney United Methodist Church is located at 108 Main Street, Poultney.
All are welcome.

A benefit dinner event, free-will contributions are designated for three Rutland County families who lost their homes to fire this winter – the James family of Pawlet, the Chandler/Savage family of Castleton, and the Cole/Wardwell family of Chittenden.

All contributions will be graciously received at the door and/or by mail (Poultney UMC, P.O. Box 203, Poultney, VT 05764-0203) and dedicated to relief for these families.

Volunteers who would like to help set-up, serve, or clean-up will be gratefully appreciated. Please contact Pastor David Adams (802-287-4406).
