There will be a rabies clinic in Vergennes on Monday, March 12th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Vergennes Animal Hospital located at 20 Main Street. A cash fee of $15 per animal will be charged. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers. All dogs must be licensed by April 1 - that is State law. Dog tags can be acquired at City Hall or by mail. To register your dog by mail, please send a copy of the rabies certificate and the appropriate fee. Neutered dogs are $9 and non-neutered dogs are $13.
