Colchester residents will have the opportunity to hear performances from all the school bands in the Colchester School District at a concert on Saturday, March 10 in the Colchester High School gymnasium. The event is free and open to the public.

The concert will begin at 11 am and last about an hour.

Each band will perform one piece at the concert, starting with the fifth graders at Malletts Bay School and moving up through to the high school band. The concert demonstrates the progression of skills, musical talent, and discipline that occurs as students move through the CSD band program. All the bands will perform a piece together at the end of the concert.

LCATV will record the concert and DVD order forms will be available at this event. DVDs can be ordered for $5 each. Friends of Colchester Music (FCM) will also be selling 50/50 raffle tickets at the CSD concert on March 10. Proceeds will help provide donations of instruments, materials, scholarships and music education programs to all of our schools in Colchester.
