WonderArts and Greensboro Garage present a screening of the inspirational documentary, DREAM, GIRL.
Dream, Girl the documentary film showcasing the stories of inspiring and ambitious female entrepreneurs, will be screened on March 15, 2018 at the Hardwick Town House at 6:30 pm.
From first-year startups to million dollar companies, Dream, Girl tells the stories of five powerful entrepreneurs and the dreams that have propelled their businesses forward.
Through in-depth interviews and access to the daily lives of five incredible entrepreneurs, Dream, Girl paints a complex picture of what it means to be a leader. The women in the film speak openly about the struggles and triumphs that come with entrepreneurship for women from discrimination to self-care, to what it means to start a family and a business at the same time.
Following the film, there will be a lively discussion featuring local female entrepreneurs ready to answer your questions and help inspire your own journey.
Female entrepreneurs include Joann Lacasse - Greensboro Garage, Katherine Sims - NEK Collaborative, Brett Stanciu - Author, Holly Wilkinson - WholeHeart, Sharon Moffatt - Aquila Jewelry, Sarah Waring - Center for an Agricultural Economy, Jennifer Ranz - Greensboro Barn, and Jerilyn Virden - Borealis Studio.
The conversation will be facilitated by Gwen Pokalo, Executive Director of Center for Women and Enterprise.
