Creating Ukrainian Pysanky at Martha Canfield Library

Past event
Mar 10, 2018, 10:30 to 11:30 AM

Pysanky are eggs which have been decorated with a wax-resist method. The eggs are decorated over a period of time using hot wax. Folk cultures around the world consider pysanky a symbol of springtime and rebirth. Join Nique Fiegel to learn this process and create your own egg starting on March 10 at 10:30 in the Library meeting room. The program continues on March 17 & 31, and April 7. This workshop is free and suitable for ages 6 to adult. Please call the library at 802-375-6153 to sign up or for more information.
