Join the Upper Missisquoi and Trout Rivers Wild & Scenic Committee on March 12th as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Act with a dynamic film festival! Come enjoy the new Clips and Reels Theater at Jay Peak Resort and a wide array of award-winning films that explore new regions of the world, follow adventurers, and expose the beauty of Wild and Scenic rivers.
Enjoy great films like Wild Olympics, which follows two paddles as they explore the rivers of the Olympic Peninsula and all the benefits these rivers provide. Wild and Scenic designation–the strongest protection a river can receive–ensures that the free-flowing character, water quality and outstanding values of these rivers are protected for generations to come.
You'll also be able to learn more about how Wild and Scenic designation has benefited our region and the two beautiful designated rivers (the Trout and the Upper Missisquoi) in our region. We look forward to seeing you on March 12th at Jay Peak Resort. Doors open at 5:30; films begin at 6:30.
