Calling all chili Olympians!
Are you an Olympian of chili? Have you honed your craft to get to the top? Are you ready to bring your best and put it to the test against competitors from around the world? (or at least, around the greater DuxWater area?)
Well if you are, mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Waterbury Chilympiad! This annual chili-fest is a fundraiser for the White Meeting House (Waterbury Congregational Church), Waterbury's oldest church and community gathering place. The event starts with judging at 5, eating at 5:30.
It's $20 to enter (which includes a meal for the chili-making Olympian!) and really, all you need to do is make a great pot of chili, name it, market it and BRING IT!

Judges to be announced. Prizes will be awarded for Best Professional, Best Con Carne, Best Vegetarian.
Community members are invited to COME and EAT at 5:30 - $8 per person, $25 for family includes chili, fixins', cornbread, sweet tea and dessert.
