This coming Saturday from 10:00 – 12:00 we are holding a tree pruning workshop/exercise and you are invited to participate. Charlotte resident and newly appointed Burlington City Arborist, VJ Comai, will be leading the exercise which will involve an overview of pruning principles and techniques followed by actual pruning of some trees. We’ll be working on maple trees on Steve Denton’s property on the east side of Spear Street just north of Spears corner store at the intersection of Hinesburg Road. The exercise will be an opportunity to learn by doing and to help ensure the long term integrity of an important group of town planted trees.

If you have it, please bring pruning equipment.

We will meet in front of Steve Denton’s office.
