My name is Finn Wormser, and I’m an 8th grader at Shelburne Community School. To help raise awareness of the challenge of global climate change, we are we are showing the award-winning documentary Before The Flood, narrated by Leonardo Dicaprio, on Saturday, March 10th at 7pm at the Shelburne Town Hall. The film shows Dicaprio traveling the globe to meet with climate change experts, learning about its causes, and seeing the devastating effects firsthand. Dicaprio meets with Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Elon Musk, John Kerry and Pope Francis to see what can be done about this problem. The movie is loved by critics, getting 71% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.3/10 on IMDb. There is no admission charge, however we will be accepting donations at the door to support 350.org, a global organization founded here in Vermont dedicated to fighting climate change.
