will be instructing a calligraphy course this coming April in Burlington, Vermont.
A Calligraphy Primer - Basics to Blooming-
The focus of this class is to give both the artist and the average person an introduction to Copperplate calligraphy through the use of gothic lettering- from which copperplate derived.

Limit: 7 persons
The class size limit is low, providing for more personal instruction.

BIO: Chris Carfaro has been writing in calligraphy since age 10 . At first it was all Old English and then in the past ten years or so, concentrated his focus on copperplate -the swirly stuff, which lead to an opportunity to study with John DeCollibus of Boston, one of twelve Master Penman in the country. Chris has also been doing work for the Vermont Statehouse in Montpelier - penning famous quotes about Vermont, for the statehouse curator.
