Dr. Will Amidon, Associate Professor of Geology at Middlebury College, and a Charlotte native, will speak on this chapter of our local geology. Lake Vermont, the Champlain Sea, and a whale in Charlotte(?)... these are all likely elements of the program. As the glaciers receded north, the earth left behind was forever changed.
