CC4G MARCH PARENT WORKSHOP: PLACE-BASED LEARNING WITH DAVID SOBEL

Join us for an evening with writer and educator David Sobel. A pioneer in the field of nature-based education, David has helped develop the philosophy of place-based education and is a driving force behind the growing nature-based preschool movement. After showing the new short film "The Best Day Ever: Forest Days in Vermont Kindergartens," David will talk about research and practices in nature and place-based education, answer questions, and lead a discussion about the benefits of connecting young children with nature.

This event will occur March 15th, 2018, from 5:30 – 7:oo pm at Guilford Central School.
