Join us at Stowe's Town Meeting. It is held at the Stowe High School Tuesday at 8am and is the largest meeting of Stowe's citizens. Town Meeting is your only chance to be THE legislative body for the Town. This is democracy at its messyest and best.

At Town Meeting we discuss the school budget and ask the School Board members any questions we want about the expenditures or anything else. This is your chance to publically discuss any issues that are important to you and our neighbors. The School Board needs to hear from us all so that they know what type of policies to develop.

We also discuss and vote on the Town's annual budget. How much do you want to pay in taxes and for what?

The Select Board and our Town Manager will answer any questions you have. They really want to hear what you think Stowe should be like in the future. What are your concerns and dreams for our lovely town? Town Meeting is your change to make a difference. The school discussion is first and followed by the town discussion and votes. Lunch is available about 2/3rds through the event. Come and reconnect with your neighbors and town.
