The Tiny Theatre launches its 2014 season on Saturday, January 25th with screenings of the surprise box office hit of 2013, director Lee Daniels' "The Butler" (2013; PG-13). Inspired by the real life experiences of Eugene Allen (played by Forest Whitaker), this film tells the story of this White House butler who served eight American presidents over three decades. The film traces the dramatic changes that swept American society during this time, from the Civil Rights movement to Vietnam and beyond, and how those changes affected this man's life and family. This film also stars Oprah Winfrey, John Cusack. and Jane Fonda, among many others.
Tickets are $4. Popcorn--$1, and Sweetwater Sodas--$.50.
