The Town of Colchester is exploring options for offering residents a trash and recycling drop-off location. Called the Fast Trash Pilot Project, the Town has partnered with Myers Container to provide this service during the 4-week trial.
WHAT: Fast Trash Pilot Project
WHERE: Colchester Fire District parking lot (838 Church Road; behind the Fire Station)
WHEN: Runs this Saturday, August 17 and next Saturday, August 24
(8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24)
HOURS: 8 a.m. - 12 noon
ITEMS ACCEPTED: Household trash and blue-bin recyclables
FEES: Trash: 18-gallon bag: $3; 33-gallon bag: $5; 45-gallon bag: $6
Recycling: Blue bin or 18-gallon bag: $2; 33- or 45-gallon bag: $3
