If it weren’t for paid ads in this week’s edition, the front page of the local paper would be promoting one incumbent Select Board candidate for the third week in a row. Last week the Northfield News ran a “Front Page Opinion” advocating a Select Board incumbent and attacking another. This week the paper relegated a counter opinion to the back page. Rather than having to pay for play on the front page, let’s see if we can generate coverage by Marching for Miller, Maxwell & Denny.

Join some of us in the “Walk for Change in Northfield” on Friday afternoon, March 2, at 4:30 p.m., at the Common in Northfield. Take your strollers and dogs for a walk around the Common during the afternoon drive time to show your support for Nathaniel Miller, Brad Denny and Dave Maxwell for Select Board. Some signs will be available, but be creative and bring your own: Vote for civility & change! We can’t afford NOT to grow!! Northfield Can Be More!!!
