Parents and High School Students -- Don't Miss Out!

Hi neighbors! I wanted to highlight for you that VSAC’s free college & career planning events are right around the corner, with the first one on Saturday, March 17 at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester. Both students and parents are encouraged to attend and can choose from more than 15 workshops covering the entire college process, including creating a college list that fits student’s needs and family’s finances, how to apply to college(s), strategies for taking SATs and ACTs, writing an application essay that stands out, college costs, financial aid, scholarships, and more. Plus -- new this year – pathways to skilled trades, apprenticeships, internships, and certificate programs that don’t require a formal degree.
