Come join the Bolton Conservation Commission, the Chittenden County Forester, Ethan Tapper, and the Preston Pond Steward on Saturday, March 3 at 2:00 PM for an informational walk at the Preston Pond Conservation Area (PPCA). We have begun a timber harvest in the PPCA, administered by Tapper and harvested by Bolton logger Kyle Pratt, in accordance with the PPCAs Forest Management Plan. Come walk the forest, see the management progress so far, and bring your questions. Meet and Park by 3097 Stage Road with appropriate clothing and footwear to be out in the cold for 2-2.5 hours, walking on snow and steep, rocky terrain. See you there!
