Vermont's Current Use Program will be the topic for Friday’s 7 p.m. Winter Evenings panel at Tunbridge Public Library. Paul Harwood, David Paganelli and Rudi Rudell will discuss how current use works, who is eligible, and how enrollment, or non-enrollment, affects property taxes.
Paganelli, the Orange County Forester, will give an overview of the law. Harwood, a former county forester, will talk about the role of private foresters. Rudell, a Tunbridge Lister, will explain the listers’ role and give a short Powerpoint program. The evening will include handouts of the current use value appraisal information sheet and showing of a forestry plan and map.
The program is free. Refreshments will be served. For information call 889-9404.
